Welcome to FOLM. By accessing or using our website/app, you ("User", "Creator", "Viewer") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. Overview

[Platform Name] is a digital platform that allows verified filmmakers ("Creators") to upload, distribute, and monetize short films through rentals or ad-supported streaming.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• Creators must complete identity verification (KYC) to upload content.
• Only original films owned by the creator may be uploaded.

3. Creator Verification Fee

• Creators must pay a one-time verification fee ($5 standard, $1 early access).
• This fee is non-refundable.
• Verification is used to prevent spam, bots, and unauthorized content uploads.

4. Content Upload Rules

Creators agree that all content uploaded:

• Is original and owned fully by the creator.
• Does not violate copyright, trademarks, or intellectual property rights.

Does not contain:

• Adult or explicit pornography
• Violence, hate speech, harassment
• Illegal, defamatory, or politically sensitive content
• Pirated or re-uploaded media

• Must be reviewed and approved by our moderation team before publishing.
• We reserve the right to reject or remove any content at any time.

5. Revenue Model

Creators can earn through:

a) Ad-Supported Films

• Creator receives 70% of ad revenue,
• Platform retains 30%.

b) Rental Films

• Creator receives 80% of rental revenue,
• Platform retains 20%.

c) Wallet Payouts

• Users have a wallet for rentals and purchases.
• Creators can withdraw earnings once the minimum threshold is met.

6. Intellectual Property

• Creators retain rights to their films.
• By uploading, you grant us a non-exclusive license to stream and display your film on the Platform.

7. Refund Policy

• Rental purchases and creator verification fees are non-refundable.
• Exceptions apply only in cases of technical failure.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate:

• Content policy
• Copyright laws
• Community guidelines
• Payment fraud attempts

9. Limitation of Liability

The Platform is not responsible for:

• Loss of earnings
• Third-party payment gateway issues
• Viewer behavior
• Copyright disputes between creators and third parties
